Healing

Many people are going out and witnessing to the lost in order to help fulfill the Great Commission, and praise the Lord for these people! However, the exciting reality is that the Great Commission involves more than witnessing to the lost and getting them to say a "sinner's prayer." In addition to sharing the Gospel, Jesus commissioned all believers to lay hands on the sick, to cast out demons, and to train others to do these things!

Notice that God does not automatically heal people, but instead He has given us the responsibility of ministering His healing power to the sick. My prayer is that these articles will enable you to see healing miracles for the glory of the Lord!

Draft Versions of a New Healing Training Course

I believe that the Lord recently prompted me to write a new Healing Training Course to replace the original Healing Training Course (and several other articles).

Here are the draft versions of the first four articles in this new series:

  • Part One: The Great Commission
A number of wrong assumptions about healing are examined in the first four articles in this series. When our thoughts, attitudes, words, and actions line up better with Scripture, then God's power will be able to flow more effectively through us.

It's best to read the first four articles in order, because they build off of each other to create a strong foundation for the practical "how to" teachings in the remaining articles.

  • Part Two: Common Questions and Objections
A number of wrong assumptions about healing are examined in the first four articles in this series. When our thoughts, attitudes, words, and actions line up better with Scripture, then God's power will be able to flow more effectively through us.

This article has been replaced with the first four articles in the new series (above).
  • Part Two: The Power of the Holy Spirit
This article has been replaced with the first four articles in the new series (above).
  • Part Three: Important Principles of Healing

  • Part Four: How to Heal the Sick in Jesus' Name
This article describes some things that you can do and say in order to begin seeing awesome miracles of healing right before your very eyes.

  • Part Five: Receive Healing
The New Testament never says that it's God's will for us to remain sick or injured or disabled. Instead, the New Testament consistently shows that healing and health are God's will for us!

More Articles on Healing

  • Should We Anoint with Oil?
Nothing in the New Testament indicates that anointing with oil is wrong, but neither is it a requirement.

  • How to Cast Afflicting Spirits Out of Your Life
This article contains a powerful self-deliverance procedure which might help you stop the enemy's attacks against you and help you cast out demons which are afflicting or oppressing you or your family. Obviously I can't guarantee what kind of results you'll have, but by following this self-deliverance procedure you'll be taking strong steps toward gaining victory over the enemy. Many people (myself included) have gained instant victory over areas of sin or areas of physical affliction through this type of self-deliverance, and my prayer is that you'll be rid of any demonic affliction or oppression after you follow this procedure.

  • Every Example of Healing in the New Testament
This article provides all of the passages in the New Testament which demonstrate how Jesus and the apostles healed the sick and cast out demons. These passages teach us a lot about how divine healing works.
